Is Your Child Falling Behind?

Measuring Improvement

After the initial assessment, should therapy be required, we recommend 26 weekly sessions and home practice, over the following 6 month period. My experience over the last 30 years in private practice has shown that this initial commitment generates the best results. At the end of this period of therapy, we re-test your child’s skills using the same initial tests. This way we can gauge formally, the improvement they have made. We see, on a weekly basis how they are responding to therapy, but this re-test gives a formal analysis of their therapy gains.

If further therapy is needed from there, we discuss the options with you. We are very sensitive to the fact that therapy requires both time and money on your behalf. The investment in your child however is far reaching, with the skills worked on paving the way for greater success in both academic and social areas of their life.
