Healthy Active Kids

It aims to improve basic knowledge of nutrition and increase physical activity levels in children aged six to 16 years old.

The program, created 16 years ago by teachers in partnership with the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) and supported by Nestlé Australia, has produced astounding results. Up to 90 percent of children have changed their eating habits, 75 percent try to eat foods from the five food groups each day, and kids are coming home telling parents what to put on the plate. Healthy Active Kids suggests:
