The term ‘dyslexia’ is widely and not always correctly used but over the years I have found that many children with learning difficulties do in fact develop skills that your so-called ‘regular learner’ may not. Having a learning problem doesn’t guarantee a successful future, but it doesn’t have to mean a bleak one either. Getting the right help, early, is the key.
